I recently had a huge opportunity with a mega builder here in Panama, I told him I could double his sales in the next 12 months.
He was interested.
I prepared a business plan in 24 hours.
I set up a meeting for the very next day.
I pitched it.
He looked at me and said, “are you out of your mind?”
It wasn’t a good fit.
I got up, shook his hand, thanked him for his time and went on with my day.
Because I “failed” fast, I was able to move on and give my full energy into a trade show I had that following week.
You have to get those ideas out of your notepad and see if they actually work out, if the market responds well, pour gasoline on that fire, if it doesn’t, great, move on to the next.
The more you fail, the faster you’re gonna hit something amazing.
