The 19th of Kislev marks the anniversary of the liberation of Rabbi Shneur Zalman of Liadi, the first Rebbe of Chabad, from Czarist imprisonment.

It also marks a revolutionary victory for the teachings and the ways of Chassidut in general, and Chabad Chassidut in particular.
