I lost $25,000 on our "filming trade show booths" test run. And I'm happy about it.

We lost money because we miscalculated the market demand and price point.

I don't look at it as a loss, it was an investment. For round #2 we will be much more educated, focused, and avoid all the mistakes. I know with certainty that we will be successful the next go around as a result. With God's help of course.

Equally important to innovation is focusing on the core business that is currently funding your business. I am here in San Diego this week at a conference called the NIC which focuses on nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.

The only reason why we have the luxury to try new things, is because old things are working and cannot be neglected.
